Christophe Beau, proprietor of Beathorey in Pic Sainte Loup is always on the hunt for new adventure. 10 years ago, he found himself in Chile’s Marga Marga Valley working in an entirely new way, cultivating vines with entirely new challenges and producing wines that tell an entirely different story. Beau is nothing if not a tinkerer and these wines, some with a bit more age than we’re used to seeing from the region, are all rustic, gorgeous, complex and a gift to be able to bring to California.
