Shota Iashagashvili originally started Marani Juniors with two of his close friends. They were working in the village of Artana under the mentorship of Kakha Berishvili. After the tragic passing of one of the three members, it was a few years before Shota was ready to start producing wine commercially again. In 2020 he made a beautiful and super bold macerated rkatsiteli and as an homage to his friend and the vision that they shared, bottled it under the Marani Juniors label.
